Green Checkered Taxi™ and/or Green Checkered Cab™ is a "Demand Side" marketing/rating program designed to reduce carbon emissions caused by
energy inefficient taxies/cabs driven in the United States. In conjunction with existing incentives and other organizations, the program will help accelerate the adoption "Green Car" technologies in taxi fleets using consumer awareness and carbon offsets.
